Shaking The KOA

Last night we did the first of two nights at the Music City KOA campground - I camped with my family a lot when I was young and driving into the campground last night brought back so many memories...The smell of a camp fire, Kids running wild, people sitting outside their campers & RV's just looking relaxed and ready for anything. We pulled up behind the MUSIC BARN around 5:00 for a 7:00 show time and were impressed with what we found. A nice facility with air conditioning! A large stage and good sound system.

We started a little late, around 7:15, with 15 or 20 people waiting for us, the crowd grew as we played with a final count between 30 & 40. It was a good group that really seemed to enjoy the music and from all indications they went away happy and touched by the music. I remember at one point at the end of "Depths Of The Father's Love" we received a hearty "Amen" or "Praise the Lord" from someone in the crowd which really drove home the point that people can be touched by our music. It was a great night and we can't wait till next month when we get to do it all over again.
