Here is X-ALT! Performing at the Coffee House at Christ church in Nashville. It was a great night and our first all acoustic show. It's always fun to take your songs that are usually loud and electric and break them down to their core. The lord has blessed us. In way of a little background on the group---the majority of us spent the last three years leading a praise and worship service at Nashville's Belle Meade United Methodist Church. In march of this year we were dismissed in order for the service to go in a different direction. This came out of nowhere and needless to say after years of service we were hurt and angry and any number of other emotions. After about a week of grumbling we starting praying and God's plan made itself clear. We had been brought together as a group to sing His praises and just because one church no longer saw a need for us, that didn't mean that others wouldn't. So we began making calls and we were welcomed with open arms, we began providing music for churches that did not normally have a contemporary service, allowing them to experience a different way of worshiping. This led to playing a gig at the 23rd Psalm Coffee House and from there things have taken off in a way that can only be the work of God's guiding hand. It seemed that everywhere we went people asked if we had a CD or Tape for sale which led to the recording of the "Rhythm and Praise" CD.
